Shanil Muhammed’s Avarude Ravukal is one of the awaited movies this April. Unni Mukundan, who plays an important character with Aju Varghese and Asif Ali in the movie, says he modelled his role in the movie on cartoon character Johnny Bravo.
“I play a lazy rich boy Siddarth who wants to play around with girls. He is someone who is a lot of fun. So, I used cartoon character Johnny Bravo as a reference to this. Johnny Bravo, a popular character, is muscular, funny and cute guy who happens to be a big flirt. I could relate to this a lot,” says the actor.
He says the movie, which hits the theatres on April 14, is an out-and-out comic entertainer.
But, what’s with the wild avatar that he sports in the movie? “That is kind of a suspense in the movie. One has to watch it to know it,” says the actor.
