Much to the excitement of fans, Mohanlal-Lal Jose venture, a campus entertainer, will go on the floors today. Mohanlal will play Prof Micheal Idicula, a college professor, in the movie dubbed a typical Lal Jose entertainer.
Says Benny Nayarambalam, who scripted the movie: “Mohanlal plays a newly-appointed college principal in the movie.
He is a friendly guy and belives in creating a warm teacher-student relation. In fact, the movie has a lot to say about today’s educational system, of course in a humorous way,” he adds.
Though the movie handles a relevant topic, Benny Nayarambalam says it is an out-and-out entertainer.
“This is a Lal Jose movie and will be everything that one expects from a Lal Jose movie,” he added.
Meanwhile, director Lal Jose took to Facebook to announce to his fans, the start of the movie. In a hand-written post, Lal Jose said that the yet-to-be-titled movie is an answer to the question on when he would be doing a project with Mohanlal.
Mohanlal will be paired up against Reshma Anna Rajan of Angamaly Diaries fame.
“She will be playing an assistant professor in the movie. Though there is no overt romantic angle in the movie, Reshma’s character has an important role to play in the movie,” says Benny Nayarambalam. The movie will be shot at St Xavier’s College, Thumba and Alappuzha.
Sarath of Angamaly Diaries fame and Arun Kurian of Aanandam fame will also appear in significant roles. Salim Kumar and Anoop Menon will also have a role.
