The grand audio launch function of the hotly anticipated Dileep-Siddharth starrer Kammara Sambhavam was conducted yesterday at the Gokulam Tower in Kaloor, Ernakulam.

The audience went wild when the 'Janapriya Nayakan' himself got on stage and spoke confidently about the film: "I actually play five roles in this, of which three have been given the most priority. For me, this film is like a rebirth. At one point, the production had to be put on halt due to the recent "tsunami" in my life. The beard I grew for this film, I grew it during those 'three months' -- and I have to thank the media for that."

Tamil actor Siddharth, who is making his Malayalam debut, professed his love for Malayalam cinema: "I've been watching Malayalam films right from when I was a kid. I'm an ardent admirer of Padmarajan and Bharathan. It took me 17 years to make my Malayalam debut and I'm so happy that I got to do that with a Dileep film."

In addition to the film's principal cast members -- Dileep, Siddharth, Namitha Pramod, and Shwetha Menon -- the event also saw the attendance of many other big names from the Malayalam industry: actors Nivin Pauly, Sunny Wayne, and Vinay Forrt; directors Joshy, Blessy, Siddique, Lal Jose, and Vysshak.

Also present were the film's director Rathish Ambatt (his debut), actor-writer Murali Gopi (he appears in a supporting role), and the music director Gopi Sundar. Producer Gokulam Gopalan said: “With an epic film like this naturally there is a risk factor involved”.

Although Tamil actor Bobby Simha is in the film, he wasn't present at the event.
