Girls are believed to be always hunting for a perfect companion, only to find that there is no one without flaws. Director Ramesh babu, through his latest flick Mr Perfect, attempts to convey that girls should not judge their chosen ones and instead be content with their strength.
Anup (Anup Sa Ra Govindu) sleepwalks and it turns out to be a blessing in disguise for Sreeja (Shalini). Anup fights over the goondas to save her and Sreeja, who discovers goodness in him, falls quickly in love with the hero. His marriage proposal is accepted by Sreeja’s family and all is well, till a ‘snake’ enters their garden of Eden. A promise made by Anup to Sreeja leads to an untoward incident, when the hero meets the heroine’s father and it nearly ends the engagement. An upset Sreeja attempts suicide. Will Anup save her and win Sreeja’s heart and how he manages to convince her father is the central plot.
Sadly, the movie does not live up to its title and is riddled with flaws. The director has shot a movie with sloppy story and narration, and even goofed up the casting. The director should not have tried to stretch himself and prove himself an asset in every department.
Anup is just a couple of films old but, since he is planning to do this for a career, he needs to perfect his craft. For this, he need the right kind of filmmaker-mentor and not fall prey to wrong choice of directors. Shalini’s presence does not help the movie along in any way.
The film could not hold our attention, despite being a horror movie with a comedy track with actors Bullet Prakash and Pavan Kumar. It lacks in good music and proper framing, and the movie makes for a dull show. We saw a ‘sleeping disorder’ among one in the audience and they used the movie’s run time for a good nap.
