It’s always intriguing to pit real v/s reel in the movies. There is a thrill in watching a true story on screen, more so when our favourite actors resurrect the characters. This year we witnessed several gems, Rush, which was based on  the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 Formula One season, the Tom Hanks starrer Captain Phillips, a biopic of merchant mariner Captain Richard Phillips, Diana and others. We unearth a few more must watch films to look forward to later this year.

It capsules Belforts high life  to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. Scheduled to release on December 25.

The Lone Survivor: This Peter Berg directed action drama is based on Seal Team 10’s failed mission: Operation Red  Wings on June 28, 2005, to capture a notorious Taliban leader during the War in Afghanistan.

Made on a relatively cheap budget of 40$million, the movie was shot extensively in Mexico. Mark Wahlberg plays the lone survivor, Marcus Luttrell. Scheduled to release on January 14.
