Usually guests prefer not to talk about other projects at an audio launch for a specific film. But, invitees had the privilege to talk about Karunas’ upcoming flick Machan at the audio launch function of Shivani that was held recently. While Shivani has been produced by Hansraj Saxena’s Sax Pictures, the same banner is said to have bought the theatrical rights of Machan too. Both the films had their audio launch on the same day.

Actor Sibiraj, one of the guests at Shivani’s function, wished Machan’s director Shakthi Chidambaram, who was also present at the event, success, adding that he might not be able to attend the other function.

Actor Karunas recalled how Saxena had been instrumental in his life to climb the ladder in the film industry.

Many guests requested Saxena to produce big budget films, too. Directors Vetrimaaran, A R Murugadoss and S J Suryah, actors Bharath, Srikanth, Ashok, Vivek, Vijay Antony and Shanthanoo, producers S A Chandrasekar, P L Thenappan and Siva were among the elite list of invitees.    Machan’s audio launch function took place at Express Avenue Mall with live performances of the songs from the film. The public that had gathered at the venue was part of the audience.
