Sathish, who debuts as an actor in the upcoming film titled Endrendrum, is already popular as a dancer, thanks to a TV reality show. But not many know that he is also director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s find. No, we are not talking about Sathish’s choreography debut in the director’s flick, Neethanae En Ponvasantham. In fact, Gautham had chosen Sathish to play the lead in Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam, the director’s dream project, which was later shelved permanently. Actor Trisha was supposed to play the female lead in the film. The director himself revealed this at the audio launch function of Endrendrum in the city recently. “Now, I’m happy to participate in a function of the film, in which Sathish plays hero,” he said.

Music director of the film Dharan said director S Sinish told him that he was only directing a shortfilm and not a feature film. “He would ask me to compose the next song after I complete one and only when I asked him after I completed the third song, he told me that he was directing a feature film,” he said. Director Vijay, producers Gnanavel Raja, Lakshman and P L Thenappan were other guests who graced the occasion.

NOD Productions has produced Endrendrum, which is said to be dealing with how love transcends life. Newbie Priyanka Reddy plays the female lead.
