Director, actor and producer M Sasikumar is currently busy with next flick, Kutty Pulli, opposite the Kumki-fame actor Lakshmi Menon.

Sasikumar, who is known for introducing fresh talent in his films, recently discovered that some people were falsely using his name to lure youngsters into films.

Clarifying on the issue, Sasikumar said, “lt has been brought to my notice that some people are making false promises to young women that they would fetch them offers in my films. l have also come to know that the fraudsters have opened mail accounts in my name to lure budding actresses. I would like to clarify that I never had the habit of interacting through emails, when it comes to picking actors for my films. l always ask people to come to meet me in person and decision on roping them in for my movies. So I request budding artistes not to fall in the net of fraudsters.”

The man added a note of caution: “This is not for my films alone. lf someone promises an offer in a film, it is alwavs better to cross check with the respective director or producer.”
