Udhaya’s double delight
Actor Udhaya is on cloud nine after his recent trip to Mumbai. The reason is not far to seek. Not only has he acted with actor Vijay, sharing screen space with the star in the upcoming flick Thalaiva, but also worked with his brother director Vijay for the first time. So, the actor has just got a double delight.
Speaking to CE, Udhaya discloses, “It was an unforgettable moment to work with my brother for the first time. He asked me if I would do this role, which is an important one in the second half of Thalaiva. I said ‘ok’ immediately, since Vijay is a big star and my brother is a director of standing today.”
The combination scenes with Vijay and Udhaya were shot for over 12 days in Mumbai. How was it taking orders from his brother? “Whatever the director told me, I did. It was a purely actor-director relationship on sets. I am really lucky and proud to work with him.”
Actor Vijay too seems to have thrilled that the two brothers came together in his film. Udhaya claims that his brother will soon direct him as a hero.
