Iniya in 'Yes I am'

The actor, who is busy with Tamil films, is currently shooting for a Malayalam flick as well

The pretty and talented Vaagai Sooda Vaa girl, Iniya, is on a roll in the industry. Not only is she handling a career in Kollywood, but has a firm foothold in Mollywood as well.

The actor’s most recent release in Tamil is Kann Pesum Varthaigal opposite actor Mirchi Senthil. The actor’s upcoming films are Maasani, a horror flick with her playing the central character, and the multi-starrer Chennaieil Oru Naal, which releases this month.

The actor is also doing a cameo appeareance opposite director Venkat Prabhu in a retro number of 80s called Roja Poo in director C S Amudhan’s Rendavathu Padam, apart from a guest role in director Vikraman’s Ninaithadhe Yeno. Looks like industrywallahs are eager to sign up the pretty face that also has the ability to portray histrionics.

She will be part of the next Listin Stephen-Sarathkumar joint production, Puli Vaal, as well. Meanwhile, Iniya is off to Mollywood to shoot for Yes I Am, directed by newbie Majid. Says Iniya, “It’s a heroine-oriented subject about a girl and how three men, a young man, her father and her uncle, influence her life.” The actor is also getting offers from Tollywood.
