Vishal and Shruti Hassan are currently shooting in Coimbatore for their upcoming Tamil action flick Poojai. Earlier, it was reported that director Hari and crew were working on recreating a few locations of Coimbatore in Chennai. Now, the team has shifted their base to Coimbatore for shooting.

The story, shooting for which began last month,  is said to take off in Coimbatore and then spread to several other locations. Produced by Vishal, the film also features Sathyaraj, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Mukesh Tiwari in pivotal roles.

Kausalya, who was last seen in Santosh Subramaniam, will make a comeback after six years with Poojai. Andrea Jeremiah has been roped in for a special folk dance alongside Vishal.

This is the second time Vishal and Hari have joined hands together after the success of their previous venture Thaamirabharani, which was released in 2007. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for Poojai.
