Familial Bonding at 36 Vayathinile Audio Launch

Familial bonding came to the fore at the audio launch of 36 Vayadhinile at Hotel Leela Palace in Chennai on Monday.

The entire family of actor Sivakumar was showered with wishes and greetings for the re-entry of Jyotika into Kollywood with 36 Vayadhinile, a remake of blockbuster Malayalam movie How Old Are You.

Jyothika’s husband actor Suriya, who is producing the film, welcomed the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Suriya  said, “Whenever I used to bump into my fans, they would always ask me why I am keeping Jyotika away from films. We were actually waiting for the right opportunity and I am happy that it has happened now.”   The trailer was launched by actor  Karthi and the song Raasathi, along with the full track, was screened. Karthi, who arrived straight from Coimbatore, said, “I have been a great fan of Jyotika anni. I have been curiously awaiting her comeback just like any other fan. I have been transfixed over the song Raasathi. This is a beautiful message to women in every home. I would dedicate this song to my daughter and to everyone.”

Jyotika, who is returning to Kollywood after years, said, “36 Vayadhinile happens to be one of the best films in my career. I am so much blessed to have Suriya as my husband. He has been supportive in letting me realise my dreams and passion. I have been bestowed with the best directors in my career. Vasanth sir, especially, endowed me with the basic elements of acting and he was someone who laid the foundation for my acting career.”

Director Vasanth, who was also present on the occasion, expressed pride at the fact that both Suriya and Jyotika, who were introduced by him, had achieved great heights.

“Suriya has made not alone his father Sivakumar proud, but me as well.”  The event was attended by the icons of Tamil cinema.
