Actor vishal has said that he has decided to keep aside his differences with the Nadigar Sangam, and work on social issues.

In such an attempt, he has brought together his fans across the State under a common body called Akila Indhiya Puratchi Thalapathy Vishal Thalamai Narpani Iyakkam, which would work towards women’s empowerment and other issues affecting people.

Speaking at a press meet in Chennai on Saturday, the actor said,”It has been 10 years since I began acting, and it is time that I meet my fans. I wanted to dispel misconceptions that I do not make attempts at meeting my fans.”

The meeting, which was conducted in the city, brought together around 5,000 fans on the same platform, when the actor also announced his official Facebook fan page titled Vishalfanclub.

Further, the actor also said that he would now be officially active on Twitter with the hashtag #Vishalkofficial.

On the need for starting the fan club, he said,”I have been working on social issues at a personal level and my fans too have been working on my behalf.

Hence, we decided to come together and work as a team. I want to work for educating girl children in every district in the State. This has always been my dream project and my aim is to chalkout plans for the year, along with my fans.”
