Chandralekha

Natalie Di Luccio, who recently enthralled Tamil film audiences with Aila Aila from I, is back with a bang— this time with AR Rahman’s Chandralekha. The song was originally sung by Anupama for the 1993-Mani Ratnam flick Thiruda Thiruda.

Natalie and her band have released a rock cover for the song. The latest is said to be a tribute to her fans who had requested her to take up a Tamil number.

Natalie is a multilingual singer who has sung in a number of Indian languages like Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. Her other famous number is Navrai Majhi from English Vinglish.

Her number from I has been highly applauded in the South and Mumbai. Earlier, she had recounted that singing a Tamil number has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience for her.
