As the shooting nears completion for Santhanam-starrer Inimey Ippadithaan, the director Premanand says that there might be one more day of shooting left and then the movie is all set for a May release. With most of the scenes shot in Chennai and Puducherry and a couple of song sequences in Bangkok, the actor was his dedicated best while shooting for the movie, staying at the spot even after shooting hours, improvising the scripts and shots. “From the times of Lollu Sabha, there has been no change in his level of dedication. He is still the same,” he adds.

His dedication and involvement towards the film was so much that he was willing to ride a bullet on a bumpy road, with so many people watching him, unmindful of the risk of slipping with a heavy bike. Premanand speaks about a scene, which demanded that Santhanam not only rode the bike, but also had the heroine seated in front.

The actor deftly managed to not only ride the bike with the heroine, but also with just one hand on the handle bar, narrates Premanand. “He also waved to the audience, managing very well on the bike on such rough terrain. This sequence turned out so well, that it would feature in the opening song, where Santhanam would sing Usharu panniduven avala tamasha, apram area la suthuven maasa while at it.
