Mahesh Babu’s Telugu hit, Aagadu, will be released now in Tamil as Idhudhaanda Police. The film, which has Tamannaah in the lead, will also feature actors Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi and Sonu Sood among others. Directed by Seenu Vaitla, the film’s Tamil dialogues have been penned by ARK Rajaraja. Sources close to the film unit say that the film will be a proper commercial entertainer. Interestingly, the film has an item number by Shruthi Haasan. It may be recalled that Mahesh Babu had only recently chosen to make his first direct Tamil feature film. His film Selvanthadu, with Shruthi Haasan in the lead, was simultaneously released in Tamil as Selvanthan. Interestingly, the film did brisk businesss in both markets. Mahesh Babu is currently working on Brahmotsavam, a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, which features Samatha in the lead.
