‘Mahabharatam’ Hits 100th Episode

Mahabharatam, written and composed by Lord Vedavyasa, is the epic of all epics. While Ramayana taught how to live life, Mahabharatam taught how not to lead life.

In the history of Tamil television, Mahabharatam is creating history by completing 100 episodes on Sun TV. The mythological is entering its 3rd year of telecast with this 100th episode. Cinevista Ltd, the producer of the show, is proud of this achievement. Being shot entirely in Tamil language, the epic show has more than 400 artistes featuring in different roles. Prominent among them are OAK Sundar, ‘Poovilungu’ Mohan, Saakshi Shiva, Manohar, Bose Venkat, Ilavarasan, Bharath Kalyan, ‘Director’ Raja. The show has been shot extensively in and around Bangalore. Prominent among them are the huge sets and blue matt studio erected near Mysore Road (at a cost of more than `1 crore). This has been hugely appreciated across all sections of the audience
