Earlier, a minute of silence was observed at the audio launch to pay homage to those killed in the Kollam fire mishap.

The audio launch was special for music director A R Rahman as he celebrated his 24th year in the film industry by releasing the audio of 24.

Several stars including Karthi, Sivakumar and Nithya Menen were among those present on the occasion. Samantha, who plays one of the female leads in the film, could not make it to the audio launch as she was shooting for the bilingual Brahmotsavam in Hyderabad.
