Director Sundar C is to produce his assistant director Venkat Raghavan’s film, Muthina Kathirikai. He will also be playing the lead in the film along with Poonam Bajwa in it.
The film is about Muthupandi, a politician who continues to remain a bachelor. When he is almost 40 years old, Muthupandi falls in love with a young girl. How he handles the issues he faces, both in love and on the political front, in a funny manner is what the story is all about.
The film has been shot in places like Chennai, Delhi and Tirunelveli. Only two more songs are left to be filmed. The film has otherwise been completed.
