Sivakarthikeyan, who’s awaiting the release of rom-com Remo, will be teaming up with Ponram for the third time, where he’s paired opposite Samantha. Ponram and Siva had already worked together in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (2013) and Rajini Murugan (2015).
“Welcome on board Samantha Prabhu for our production number 4 with Siva Karthikeyan,” read a post on the official Twitter handle of the makers, 24 AM Studios.
Before commencing Ponram’s untitled flick, Siva is expected to complete his current film with director Mohan Raja of Thani Oruvan fame. Meanwhile, we hear that Samantha will play the role of a girl-next-door in this yet-to-be-titled flick. Sources say that the shooting will begin by next year in the month of January.
As of now, the film is in pre-production stages and Imman is likely to compose music. Considering the mass-hero image Siva has, there will be a lot of action sequences. This is said to be a full-on commercial entertainer. Though the remaining star cast is yet to be finalised, it looks like Soori will be providing the comedy relief.
