Vadivelu not a part of 2.o
There were rumours about Vaigai Puyal being a part of the magnum opus, 2.o, directed by Shankar. But contrary to those reports, Vadivelu said he was not a part of Rajinikanth’s upcoming Tamil science-fiction action-thriller. During a recent media interaction, he said he was waiting for Shankar to complete 2.o, so that he can begin work on Imsai Arasan 2. Apparently, this confused everyone. “He was misquoted by the media. Though Rajinikanth and Vadivelu have worked together in films like Chandramukhi (2005), he wasn’t even approached for a role in 2.o,” said sources close to the actor. Currently, he’s busy with Imsai Arasan 2, a sequel to the Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi (2006), bankrolled by Shankar. This apart, he has Vijay 61, and an untitled project of GV Prakash Kumar’s, directed by Rambala.
