Nayanthara, who’s focusing more on women-centric films these days, has completed her schedule for the Gopi Nainar’s untitled one, produced by Rajesh J Kotapadi. We had already reported that she plays a district collector in the film, that addresses one of the major problems that people face — water scarcity. Sources say that she’s almost done with the final leg of shoot in Ramanathapuram.
We hear she has also been continuously shooting for 24 days in Appanur village. “The climax sequences are the highlight of the film involving thousand junior artistes, which was shot under the guidance of stunt choreographer Peter Hein. Now, the team will be focusing on the rest of CG work,” the source added. Meanwhile, a little birdie tells us that the title of the movie will be revealed in a day or two.
Having shot extensively in Tada, Andhra Pradesh, Sriharikota and Salem, the film has child artistes Vignesh and Ramesh, who rose to fame with the critically-acclaimed Kaaka Muttai (2015). Ramachandran of Sathuranga Vettai (2014) fame and Sunu Lakshmi of Sengathu Bhoomiyile (2012) fame also play important roles. Om Prakash is the cinematographer and National Award winner Lalgudi Ilayaraja is the
art director.
