CHENNAI: Kamal Haasan has asked his fans/fan club association members not to celebrate his birthday, which falls on November 7, expressing solidarity over Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's health.

"An appeal to my friends -- since Chief Minister has been hospitalised, my birthday functions should be avoided (sic)," he posted on his Twitter page.

Ulaganayagan is currently busy in the post production work of his upcoming trilingual comedy Sabaash Naidu.

One may recall that Kamal is directing the film as filmmaker TK Rajeev Kumar fell reportedly ill. Also, recently, he suffered a fracture in his leg and undertook treatment in Apollo Hospitals.
