Fan congratulates Radio Jockey Balaji for hitting a six off Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar

RJ Balaji replied to the fan's tweet as if he were indeed the one who had hit Shoaib Akhtar for a six.

Tributes have been pouring in on Twitter after former Indian cricketer Lakshmipathy Balaji announced his retirement from first-class cricket yesterday. The social networking site has always been a place for all sorts of humour and one such instance came after one of Balaji's fans mistook Radio Jockey Balaji for Lakshmipathy Balaji.

The fan congratulated RJ Balaji for his fantastic cricketing career. He even went on to add that he still remembered the six Balaji had hit off Shoaib Akhtar when India played Pakistan, without realising he was tweeting to RJ Balaji instead of former Indian speedster Lakshmipathy Balaji.
