Maaveeran Kittu team starts dubbing

We had already reported that Vishnu Vishal and Sridivya would be seen as the lead pair in Suseenthiran’s upcoming film Maaveeran Kittu. After shooting for 45 days, in areas like Oddanchatram and Palani, now the crew has begun dubbing.

“Maaveeran Kittu is based on true events, which chronicles the life of a man who fought for the rights of Tamils during the 80s. But the director has added fictional characters to the story. Vishnu will be seen in four different looks and Parthiepan also plays a pivotal role,” says a  source close to the team.

When the first look was unveiled, it was speculated that the film would be based on the LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran. But rubbishing all the rumours, Suseenthiran had later clarified that it’s neither about LTTE leader nor the Sri Lankan war.

We hear that this film will dwell on caste, loosely. “Vishnu has undergone a complete makeover for one of his characters. The emotional romantic portions between Sridivya and Vishnu will be the highlight of the film. The makers are planning to release it in November,” adds the source.

While Soori will provide comedy relief, Imman is the music director. Shobi will be choreographing the dance sequences.

Sridivya and Vishnu have worked together in Jeeva (2014). Whereas, after Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (2009), Vishnu is teaming up with Suseenthiran. Maaveeran Kittu is produced by Eshwar Kandasamy, DN Thai Saravanan and Rajeevan.
