GV Prakash, who has quite a few projects in the pipeline, has now signed his next with director Ezhil of Velainu Vandutta Velliakaran fame.
He says the film will be a remake of the Telugu horror-comedy, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada. “The film, which starred Nikhil, was a huge hit. Ezhil will bring to the film his brand of commercial elements and tailor it for our audiences,” says the actor-composer. On why he chose the film, he says, “What matters to me is my gut feeling about a film. When Ezhil approached me with this project, I knew he was a director with great experience. I felt right about this project.” He says that the project will begin sometime around June-July, and as with other films starring him, he will be composing the music too. On his other projects, he says, “I have completed shooting for 4G, Adangathey and Sarvam Thaala Mayam.” Ezhil’s next, Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen, stars Udhayanidhi Stalin and Regina Cassandra, and is up for release on May 12.
