Actor-music composer GV Prakash Kumar and Eetti (2016) fame director Ravi Arasu have joined hands for a new project, which is slated to go on the floors later this month.
It has been learnt that Premam (2015) sensation Madonna Sebastian will play Prakash’s love interest in the yet-to-be-titled film, which will be produced by B Ganesh, who earlier made Orange Mittai (2015) and Rekka (2016). “After much contemplation, the makers have zeroed in on Madonna, and she has already signed the project. She will join the team from the first schedule itself,” a source told City Express.
Madonna, one of the fast-rising heroines in Kollywood, currently has KV Anand’s Kavan and Dhanush’s Power Paandi in her kitty. She is teaming up with GV Prakash for the first time and their pairing will be one of the highlights of this project. The director had previously said that Prakash would be seen in a role quite different from anything he did so far in his career.
This year Prakash has an interesting lineup of films such as Adangathey, 4G, a project with director Pandiraj, and another one with Sasi. He also has Sarvam Thaala Mayam with cinematographer-filmmaker Rajiv Menon.
