Grapevine has it that director Vijay is planning a sequel to the Prabhu Deva-Tamannaah starrer Devi(l). The filmmaker is busy with Vanamagan, after which he’ll start working on the Tamil remake of Charlie (2015).
According to sources, sequel plans are definitely on, but it will go on floors only next year. CE learnt that Prabhu Deva was also working on a few films, after which we would work on the sequel.
Devi(l) is the story of a man who unwillingly marries a village girl, who is later possessed by the ghost of an aspiring actress forms the rest of the story.
