Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who is busy shooting Echarikkai, will be teaming up next with Vishal for Sandakozhi 2. The film directed by Lingusamy will start rolling from July.
Sandakozhi 2, the sequel to the 2005 hit, Sandakozhi, stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, and will see Varalaxmi Sarathkumar playing an important role. The pre-production work for the film is under progress and the director is reportedly adding final touches to the script.
Vishal and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar had earlier collaborated for Madha Gadha Raja, a film that is yet to see the light of day. Varalaxmi has got an impressive line-up of projects in her kitty including Vikram Vedha and Nibunan. The actress is also a part of of two Malayalam films: Kaattu and an untitled one with Mammootty.
Lingusamy, meanwhile, might soon begin working on an untitled project with Allu Arjun.
