Namitha Babu, the singer who made her debut with Alunguren Kulunguren from Sandi Veeran, has sung three songs in one of this week’s releases, Veeraiyan. The rural film stars Inigo Prabhakar and Vela Ramamoorthy.

Talking about her journey so far, the singer says, “It all started with Sandiveeran and then I was offered a chance in Thirunaal. After that, Ghibran sir gave me a great platform in Magalir Mattum, in which I sang two songs. It got me a lot of appreciation and recognition.”Namitha has also sung in the Telugu version of Theeran Adhigaram Onrdu, Kaakhi. “I would like to continue this streak. Being qualified in Western classical music gives me a huge advantage when it comes to shifting genres. I am really looking forward to working with more music directors.”
