A video circulating on the internet has claimed that Indhuja, who made a stellar debut in Tamil cinema with Meyadha Maan, landed the lead role in her upcoming film, Billa Pandi, on account of some ‘compromises’. The actor took to her social media page to defend herself.
She called the video her “first ever controversy”. She clarified that unlike as said in the video, Mercury was, in fact, her second film.

“Cinema industry, these days, rewards hard work. If I wanted to do that to come up in the industry, I would not have struggled for four years to get Meyadha Maan and Mercury.”
She also added, “If I don’t reply to this video now, they will keep doing this to other upcoming actors who have worked hard and struggled to be a part of this cinema industry.”
