Known for his family-friendly comedies like Mundasupatti, Kullanari Koottam, and Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, Vishnu Vishal is back to doing what he does the best in the upcoming untitled film by debutant Venkatesh Radhakrishnan. The film, which was launched on Wednesday, is said to be an out-and-out family entertainer suitable for all age groups.

Talking about the project, the director says, “We want to give the audience a clean comedy film with absolutely no double-meaning dialogues or vulgar scenes. I am very confident that those who watch the film will have a hearty laugh and leave the theatre forgetting all their worries.”

He also adds that the audience will get to see a new dimension of Vishnu Vishal in this film. “Though Vishnu has acted in several rural films, this one will be very different. The challenge he faces to win the hand of his lover will be the highlight of the film.”

Apart from Vishnu, the film has an ensemble cast that includes Prabhu, Saranya Ponvannan, Munishkanth and Rajendran. About the idea of casting Shivani as the female lead of the film, Venkatesh says, “Initially, I didn’t know that she was the daughter of Rajasekhar and Jeevitha. I was just searching for a Tamil-speaking girl with bold looks. That was when I saw a photoshoot of her for Kumki 2. We called her for a look test and we were completely convinced that she was apt for our script.”
