CHENNAI: After their successful collaboration in Vikram Vedha, Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath will be seen together once again -- this time, in a romantic drama. Directed by newbie Dhilip Kumar, the film is about the relationship between an older man and a younger woman.

Dhilip tells CE, “I directed Kalki (available on Netflix), and the production house, Pramod Films, put me in touch with Madhavan. It’s not because of Vikram Vedha that we’re bringing them together, but because I felt Shraddha will be apt for this role.”

Madhavan will play his age in the film, he assures. “After a long time, he’ll be seen in a romantic drama,” he adds. “There’s a ten-year age difference between the leads.”

Shooting will start around the end of this month in Chennai. “We are planning to finish the film in 45 days. Ghibran will make music,” says Dhilip.
