Shooting for 'Oru Oorla Irandu Raja' Right on the Railway Track

Set inside a train for the first half of the movie, the first of leg of shooting for Vimal and Soori’s new film Oru Oorla Irandu Raja has began. And appropriately, the shooting is right on track at the Mayiladuthurai railway station. The film is all about incidents that take place over the course of just two days.

Vimal and Soori play the role of two rajas in this movie produced by Michael Rayappan. The rajas and Priya Anand, who is cast opposite Vimal in the film, meet on a train journey from Thoothukudi to Chennai.

An incident that occurs on the rail journey transforms their lives. The story goes from train tracks to car journeys to chasing love and picks up speed tracing their lives.

The movie, directed by R Kannan, will have a rural background with Vimal playing an educated youth from a farming family and the troubles he gets into due to his energetic nature.

Priya will be playing a girl hailing from Madurai. The love affair between Vimal and Priya onscreen is one of the highlights of the movie. In order to keep it realistic, it is not love at first sight, but rather a slow development.The movie also stars veteran actor Nasser playing a businessman with a twist.

The movie’s cinematography has been done by PG Muthiah while is the music is by D Imman.
