Two debutants Raj Tarun and Anandi come on screen for the first time for a love story, set in a small town Koonavaram in Andhra Pradesh. “Romance isn’t the first thing you expect from Uyyala Jampala ,but in this delightful rural love tale, you will find a daringly different music composition, dialogue that is so echoes countryside couple with enchanting live sound,” says Nagarjuna, the producer of the movie.

“It’s a story about fun and emotion of a young love story,” says Ram Mohan P of Sunshine Cinemas.  An IIMA graduate, Ram Mohan previously produced two hit films Ashta Chamma and Golconda High School and works with new talent. He earlier launched Nani, Srini Avasarala and Swathi in lead roles.

On his association with Annapurna Studios, Ram adds, “It was a meeting of similar mind sets. Nagarjuna’s career as a producer is built around spotting new talent and working with them, from Ram Gopal Varma to Lawrence. They gave me the freedom and respect as an independent producer and waited patiently to see the final product. Such faith and trust in this business is truly a rarity.  This film is jointly produced by Annapurna Studios and Sunshine Cinemas”.

Actress Anandi obviously excited about her big screen debut, shiting gears from television, and says the big screen will be different, but expects that this film will help her make a strong transition. Raj Tarun echoes the same feeling.

The young star dabbled with story writing and assistant directing  before making this debut.

Uyyala Jampala targets the youth and family audiences. Directed by Virinchi Varma, it will hit screens on December 25.
