Rudhramadevi.jpgGunasekhar’s upcoming 3D historical Rudhramadevi has been given a much-needed boost after  its Hindi dubbing rights were acquired by Abhishek Pictures and Reliance. The cash-strapped film has been postponed several times over the last 18 months due to a lack of funds and with big money players stepping in, it seems like the Anushka Shetty-starrer will finally be ready for release.

Though the makers of Rudhramadevi publicly announced last month that it would hit screens on September 4, negative feedback on the film’s teaser, once again sent the crew into a huddle and changes continue to be made to make it a visual treat for the viewers.

While the film was initially postponed to a Vinayak Chaviti release on September 17, sources reveal that it may now release on September 25 instead.

Either way, with Reliance and Abhishek Pictures coming into the fray, pressure is on Gunasekhar to get the film to release in time.
