Abbayitho Ammayi is Digitally Inspired

Naga Shourya’s upcoming youthful entertainer Abbayitho Ammayi has a strong influence from social media, reveal makers.

In an attempt to connect with the youth and strike a chord with the digital generation, director Ramesh Varma is coming up with a contemporary love story featuring Naga Shourya in the lead.

Titled Abbayitho Ammaayi, the film’s music has been scored by veteran music composer Illayaraja, who was the special guest for the film’s audio launch, which was held in the city recently.

“everyone likes love. For me, I am in love with music, while a few others are in love with money, etc. but everyone is always in love, and like love.  The movie that was released with so much love by the producers and by the director, Ramesh Varma, should reach all the success. I wish the entire unit all the best,” the iconic composer expressed.

Actor Naga Shourya, who was overwhelmed by Illayaraja’s presence, said he was delighted to get the chance to work with director Ramesh Varma, after their initial plan dint work out.

“I call Ramesh Varma as Annaya. He had infact promised to launch me even before Oohalu Gusa Gusalade, and had written this script way back then. But he could sadly not make the movie at that time, and he could finally make it now. I really like Illayaraja’s music, and I am not someone who is big enough to talk about him, and I am really happy to be working with him in the starting of my career,” said a delighted Naga Shourya.

According to the makers, Abbayitho Ammaayi is a heart-touching youthful love story which is close to today’s current trends.

Director Ramesh Varma explained that the film is inspired by social media, which everybody connects with.

“Today’s youth is being influenced by two different worlds. The first is the real world, while the second is the world, is the virtual world, where it is being controlled by the social media. In the virtual world, people are more free to open themselves, and express their feelings and opinions in social media. The youth are lacking this openness when it comes to the real world. This movie is all about the confusion and the current trends in the youth,” the director said.

Bellamkonda Suresh, C Kalyan, Sai Korrapati, Srinivas Avasarala, Hero Gautham, Rao Ramesh, and others graced the function.

Presented by JG cinemas, Kiran Studios, Blooming star motion pictures and Mohan Rupa Films, Abbayitho Ammaayi also features   Palak Laalwani and is slated for a Christmas release on December 25.
