Anisha

After being unceremoniously dropped as the leading actress in Pawan Kalyan’s recent actioner Sardaar Gabbar Singh, it seems actress Anisha Ambrose’s career is back on track.

The actress, who has since tasted success with Sundeep Kishan-starrer Run, has now been roped in for a high-profile film – Chandrasekha Yeleti-Mohanlal’s family drama, Manamantha.

The film, which will be Telugu-Malayalam bilingual, will feature prominent faces from both industries in equal measure.

“The makers were keen on casting a young face and they were impressed with Anisha’s recent performances and decided to cast her in an important role. The movie is currently under progress and the last leg of shooting is taking place at the moment,” said a source from the film’s unit.

Produced by Sai Korrapati, Manamantha also features yesteryear actress Gauthami.
