HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film has been titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and the film’s motion poster and title logo were released by filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli here at an event on the special day of Chiranjeevi, who turned 62.
“The motion poster is beyond everyone’s expectations and the background score, colour grading and Chiranjeevi’s look is amazing.
Director Surender Reddy has good command on 24 crafts. After seeing all the big names being associated with this project, it feels like the debut film of Chiranjeevi. The success of Baahubali goes to our technicians and their impeccable hard work. Similarly, this film too has several talented technicians on board.
Rahman’s music and Paruchuri Brothers writing skills need no introduction. I consider myself fortunate to launch the motion poster and I’m believe Ram Charan has a winner in hand,” said Rajamouli.
The film based on the life of India’s first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy boasts of top actors and technicians across languages and is being mounted on a lavish scale by actor Ram Charan under the umbrella of Konidela Productions.
The motion poster shows Uyyalawada and his army attack on a British fort and their contingent thus promising a techno visual extravaganza. The background score composed by SS Thaman too sets the right tone for the historical drama.
Bollywood stalwart Amitabh Bachchan, actress Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathy are part of the star cast, while Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman wields the baton of music.
The film has the story by Paruchuri Brothers, dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra and the Cinematography will be handled by Ravi Varman.Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy marks the second collaboration of the father-son duo after this year’s first blockbuster Khaidi No. 150.
The event held in the presence of hundreds of fans also saw the likes of actors Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, and director Sukumar in attendance.
