Kalyani Priyadarshan, daughter of filmmaker Priyadarshan, is the female lead for the Akhil Akkineni-starrer, Hello.
Initially, it was rumoured that Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor would be playing the role, but it looks like Kalyani has bagged it now.
Akhil Akkineni released the first look of the film, and also posted a video featuring the two of them and others, including Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Suriya saying ‘Hello!’ to the audience.
Directed by Vikram Kumar of 24 fame and produced by Annapurna Studios, the film is slated for a December 22 release. Kalyani has previously worked as an assistant director in Vikram’s Iru Mugan. Interestingly, Vikram Kumar has assisted her father, Priyadarshan, and knew her as a child.
