HYDERABAD: Allu Sirish has been trying to break away from mainstream cinema and is embracing concept-driven films these days. After 1971: Beyond Borders, the Allu scion is arriving with a sci-fi thriller Okka Kshanam. Directed by Vi Anand, the film’s teaser released recently has hit one-million views and also garnered rave reviews from movie buffs and celebrities with a majority of them showering praises on Anand for its intriguing plot.

Actors Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati tweeted that the teaser looks interesting and cool, while music composer SS Thaman thinks that it has super hit written all over it. The film’s tagline ‘love vs destiny’ shows that the protagonist fights to save his love from an invincible power hinting that the story is also loaded with supernatural elements. Produced by Chakri Chigurupati, the film’s shooting is completed and the post-production formalities are in full swing. Okka Kshanam also features Surbhi, Srinivas Avasarala and Seerat Kapoor as other leads. The film releases on December 23.
