The filmmaker wrote on Twitter, “Rivetting show by the captain and his crew. Both on screen and off screen. The team Ghazi excels. Congratulations, Rana.” Celebrities including Samantha also posted their opinions on social media. Naga Chaitanya wrote, “Team Ghazi, you made us proud. Pushing Telugu cinema to a new space! More like these have to be made.” Rakul Preet Singh added, “Salute from a defence kid Captain Arjun. Ghazi attack shows your passion for great cinema! A film every Indian should be proud of!” A war-based film, Ghazi (The Ghazi Attack in Hindi) directed by Sankalp Reddy, is based on the PNS Ghazi Submarine that sank mysteriously at the Vishakapatnam coast during the Indo-Pak 1971 war in the Bay of Bengal.
