It’s a wrap for baahubali - the conclusion

It’s been over three years. A marathon journey full of determination, dedication and commitment. And finally, SS Rajamouli and his team have reached the summit. Baahubali:

The Beginning, Telugu cinema’s biggest hit, will probably go down as one of the most memorable films the industry has ever produced. And with the shooting for the film’s sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion coming to a close, curtains have been drawn on the magnum opus.

Baahubali has been memorable for a number of factors. This is the first time a big Telugu superstar, in the prime of his career, decided to dedicate three and a half years on just one film, without signing any other project. Even after the unprecedented success of Baahubali: The Beginning, Prabhas announced that he will focus on other projects only after the sequel is complete. And Rajamouli is the first person to acknowledge Prabhas for his efforts at the end of an eventful journey.

“And that’s a wrap for Prabhas. 3.5 years. One hell of a journey. Thanks darling. No one had as much belief on this project as you. That means a lot,” Rajamouli posted on Twitter.

Prabhas returns as Amarendra Baahubali in Baahubali: The Conclusion. The film, which also features Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in important roles, will release worldwide on April 28.
After this, Prabhas will move on to his next Telugu outing, supposedly an action-thriller, to be helmed by director Sujeeth.
