With his last few films failing to set cash registers ringing at the box-office, actor Vishnu Manchu is hoping to bounce back with an upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by GS Karthik.
The yet-to-be-titled venture, which also happens to be Vishnu’s Tamil debut, was launched in Hyderabad on Thursday. The film is being produced by John Sudheer Pudota under Rama Reels banner.
“I am glad to have great people like Mohan Babu, MM Keeravani and Vijayendra Prasad blessing our film. This is a universal subject to be made in Telugu and Tamil.
Vishnu Manchu and Surabhi are playing the lead. Story, screenplay and direction is by GS Karthik while SS Thaman is composing the music,” said producer John Sudheer Pudota. The film, which also features Sampath Raj in an important role, is slated to release in the second half of 2017.
