SS Rajamouli had announced that Baahubali-2 would be the end of the franchise as far as the films were concerned. But if everything goes to plan, the film will soon be adapted to the small screen.
According to sources, it will not be “in the format of the daily soaps, but a seasonal one with 10-15 episodes, which will give a film-like experience to the viewers.”
When the filmmaker was in Chennai, he’d spoken about how the team was planning to come up with “TV series, books, virtual reality films and games in 2018” to further the franchise.
We hear that the series will be shot on the sets of Baahubali at Ramoji Rao studios in Hyderabad.
