Anisha Ambrose, who will be next seen in Vamsy’s Fashion Designer – S/O Ladies Tailor, described the experience of shooting extensively in a village set-up as adventurous, as it required her to cut out from city life for a brief period.

“The whole experience was so adventurous. Since we shot in small villages in Godavari district, we had to stay in huts. We had no connection with the outside world as there was absolutely no mobile connectivity. I wondered how I was going to manage without my mobile phone, but I quite enjoyed that phase,” Anisha says.

Even though it was challenging, she says it was the experience of a lifetime. “I still remember when we had to wake up at 2 in the morning and get ready for our first shot at 5 a.m.”

Talking about her role, she said. "I play a girl who has just returned from the US. She visits her parents' village where she adjusts to fit in as she tries to learn more about the lifestyle. She is keen on exploring different roles. "In my other Telugu film, Okkadu Migiladu with Manoj, I play a journalist."

This year, Anisha will be making her Tamil debut in a yet-untitled suspense drama with Sibiraj. Thrilled about foraying into a new industry, she said: "It's a very interesting role and I'm kicked about it."
