HYDERABAD: Director Anil Ravipudi has confirmed a sequel to his Wednesday release Raja The Great, starring Ravi Teja and Mehreen in the lead. The Pataas director said that the team gave a heads up at the end titles with the title logo Raja 2 The Great. “There is a slight tease at the very end of the rolling titles hinting at the possibility of a sequel for the actioner.
The sequel will definitely happen but I can’t tell you exact time stamp on the shooting, release and other details at the moment.”
He added that he is yet to work on the story. “I have thought of a line but I’m yet to develop it into a script. I will certainly make sure that the sequel too lives up to the expectations.” It is learnt that Dil Raju, who made Raja The Great will shepherd the sequel too.
Also tarring Rajendra Prasad and Radhika in pivotal roles, Raja The Great is the story of a visually-challenged man, who aspires to become a cop.
