Actors Rakul Preet Singh and Naga Chaitanya, who earlier worked in Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam, will be sharing screen space together for the second time. A little birdie in the know says their next project will take off soon and will mark the debut of Sowjanya, a former protege of Krishna Vamsi, as the director. Billed to be a rom-com, the film’s principal shooting will commence in late May or early June. “Rakul is impressed with the storyline pitched by Sowjanya and instantly agreed to be on board.

As she is also committed to work in two-three Tamil films, the actress will be signing the dotted line after finalising her call sheets,” says a source adding, “The movie is different from the duo’s previous films. It’s a vibrant, yet colourful love story with tremendous appeal for the youth. It also comes with a good message and a lot of magical moments.” S Radha Krishna, who is currently bankrolling Chay’s upcoming film tentatively titled Sailaja Reddy Alludu, is shepherding this project as well.
