'Hawa-Hawai' no more: Iconic Sridevi passes away

She started acting when she was four years old and her first role was to play young Lord Muruga. The audience loved the performance of baby Sridevi so much that she had to reprise her role several other times. People fell in love with the wide-eyed kid and offers started pouring in. With her phenomenal acting skills and dance moves she soon climbed the ladder to stardom and became one of the most sought-after leading ladies for movies. She starred in smashing hits like Nagina and Mr India and bagged several Filmfare awards amongst many.  Songs like 'Hawa-Hawai' and 'I Love You' showcased her finesse as an actor. After a really successful run in Bollywood, she married Director-Producer Boney Kapoor in the year 1996. She had starred in several of his films opposite Anil Kapoor. The marriage, but became a highly controversial topic as Boney was already married and had two kids. Post marriage Sridevi took a sabbatical from movies. The actress was in Dubai along with her husband Boney Kapoor and her younger daughter Khushi to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohit Marwah.
