The latest season of Game of Thrones is out on July 16 and our columnist, Saumya Chawla, brings you some serious fashion inspiration while you watch re-runs and emotionally scar yourself. Can we just
say — so much blood, so much sex, and so much oomph...it’s never enough! With costumes as complex as storylines, here’s a look at celebs going from Red Keep to Red Carpet and leaving us glued to our screens.

Fondling with fur
Who’d have thought that Jon Snow would meet Kate Moss halfway in Hong Kong? Check her out in Marc Jacobs giving us serious Castle Black feels. And while you’re in a love-hate relationship with Ygritte, check out what Chanel came up for their fall 2010 collection. Let’s also take a moment to sell our souls to the Dior Couture fall 2006 collection, thanks.

Fantasy floral
Sansa likes little roses, so why don’t you pick up a sweet something in textured crepe — even if you have to go pick up Chinese take-out for one? Or you could just do what Cate Blanchett did at the 2016 Oscars in her Armani Prive gown? Totally swoon worthy! Escaping from a devil husband and a mother-in-law who leaves a lot to be desired? Please do it in the 2013 Spring Summer Saint Laurent.

Wine and everything fine
Plotting somebody’s bloody murder? Never seen without a goblet of wine? Have more skeletons in your closet (literally and figuratively) than you are proud of? Congratulations, you’re Cersei Lannister! Now it’s time to look the part too. Check out the Tommy Hilfiger bell-sleeved red dress Karolina Kurkov wore at the Met Gala in 2015. If you’re truly a Lannister and have extra wads of cash lying around to throw — check out other high end looks from Jean-Paul Gaultier and Valentino.

Dragons & drapes
How does Khaleesi do it? Always dressing for the job she wants but doesn’t have — she has launched a billion and more platinum dyed looks, and looks drool-worthy whether she is hatching dragons or burning cities to the ground. Doesn’t this Giambattista Valli outfit from their Fall 2009 collection look awfully similar to what she wore? Also check out Kim K in Valentino (2015) dressed up for a fighting pit match! (Maybe for her latest contour kits?) Here’s a bonus: Dragon-inspired by Giambattista Valli Fall 2012 couture collection! (giggle)

Funeral in vogue
Are you still mad about how Margaery Tyrell was killed last season? Are you planning on writing some sort of fan fiction where she is somehow also part Targaryan so the wildfire doesn’t hurt her? Can you just NOT deal with this? It’s okay, just know that she will always live on in Julien Macdonald’s Fall/Winter 2011 line. Special shout-out to Taylor Swift for her Zuhair Murad Couture gown at the 2012 Grammys which looked suspiciously like the embroidered gold dress she wore at her wedding with Tommen Baratheon.
